And asking questions and maintaining eye contact will help to get the attention of the audience better. Avoid being nervous because it really affects the outcome of the speech.
For everyone, what other skills do you think you have not had the chance to learn much during the term but would try to practice and acquire in upcoming classes in DLSC?
None, I think that this class taught me everything that I need to be a better public speaker for my upcoming classes.
Is there anything you would like to suggest in the instruction and handling of ENGLTWO?
This ENGLTWO class was fun and very educational at the same time, and I think that it should stay the same for upcoming ENGLTWO classes.

Persuasive Outline
Title: New isn't always better
Thesis Statement: I would like to convince my classmates to choose second hand gadget rather than a brand new.
I. Attention
A. Talk about experiences
-From brand new gadgets
-From second hand gadgets
II. Problem/Need
A. Problems to be addressed
-Budget constraint
The price is a huge incentive to buy items refurbished, you just need to weigh the risks of buying a product refurbished with the positional money savings.
-The need of having a certain gadget
III. Solution
A. Buying second hand rather than brand new
-Benefits of second hand
The major benefit of buying a refurbished item is obviously the price. The price may be the only incentive to buy refurbished products. You can sometimes save almost half if you buy an item as refurbished. The bigger the item the more you can save.
For example, if you buy a refurbished electronic that has broken down and is now fixed you are buying an item with a less likelihood of breaking down. If you would have bought that item brand new it would have broken down on you and it would have been sent it to be fixed. Now that you are buying a refurbished item that faulty part is gone and a new one take it's place and you are set with a practically brand new electronic.
IV. Visualizing results
A. If you buy second hand
-In most cases, buying the item would make sense and be worth it, especially if you are buying the item with a 50% savings. Even if the item does happen to break down you can always buy another one for the same price and still be spending the same amount of money if you would have bought one brand new. Chances are you will not lose any money and get the same amount of life out of your refurbished goods.
-More information about a certain gadget because of past reviews of it.
Since the item has been in the market for a period of time already, it will have some reviews that will give you a hint if it is a good buy or not.
B. If you buy brand new
-More or less double the price
Brand new are very expensive and have a high depreciation because the price started high.
-Some are defective because it is not yet tested
Some items have deficiencies that will be seen if it is used for a certain amount of time. Since it is brand new, the item would show its flaws after a few months.
V. Action
A. Actual Websites to buy second hand
tipidpc.com and ebay
B. Tips in buying second hand gadgets
Search for an item that you want to buy, then pick from the long list of items.
Be sure to read reviews about the item and read the current condition of it
which is probably written in the description. Always look for a decent return policy and if the seller is an unknown individual or a well-known manufacturer, it can make a big difference in your satisfaction.
